[At least Kavinsky's quick to offer the reassurance that it's a magical superpower heart and not one he's carved out of someone's chest. That sets Cass at ease just a smidge more than before the revelation. Vampire or not, he's not into wanton murder and unnecessary gore and violence, he's a good boy who believes in only using that sort of reaction for self-defence and little more. Murder is a-okay when protecting a pal, but carving out hearts a step over into the 'weird' territory.
